The Capital Prep Method
What to study, when to study it & the exact moment you're ready.
Cut out the months of studying you don't need. ARRT prep that adapts every day — no guessing what to do next.
SurePass readiness
A readiness score built from your own answers — not a progress bar. It moves as you answer, and recent work counts most. On an exam scored against a scaled cut, it is the only straight answer you get to "am I ready?"

Anywhere Mode · Study from your pocket

Your phone is already in your hand. Two taps, no signal needed.
- Quick Ten — One tap. Ten questions, with the rationale on every one.
- It downloads itself — No button, no setup, nothing to remember.
- No bars? Still works — Airplane mode, the subway, a cabin in the woods.
- Nothing gets lost. Ever. — Saves as you tap, syncs when you're back.
Flashcards and practice questions work offline. The study guide, audio and full-length mocks need a connection.

Questions, answered
What's inside the study portal?
The full Fast Track Study System — every practice question, every flashcard deck, full-length mock exams, narrated audio, Miles the AI tutor, and the entire study guide, every chapter readable and highlightable. The cheat sheet — the highest-yield facts as a PDF — is in the study portal on every pass, with instant access to download it. Every pass opens all of it; Standard carries the Money-Back Guarantee and SurePass the SurePass Guarantee.
How does the SurePass Guarantee work?
Standard and SurePass carry it. Score 80%+ on one full-length mock, sit the real exam, and if you don't pass we refund what you paid. On SurePass, clear two mocks with your readiness meter at "Getting close" or above and we also pay your full $200 retake fee. A refund also comes with free access to keep preparing — 90 more days on Standard, another year on SurePass. Starter carries no refund — don't pass, upload your score report, and we add 30 more days of access, free. Every free period is counted from the earliest date your exam allows a retake. You file the claim in your study portal with your official score report.
How many full-length mocks do I get?
Four scored full-length sittings, each a brand-new 230-question paper weighted to all eight sections and timed to the real 230 minutes. Practice questions and timed practice are unlimited and never use one. 230 questions is what a candidate actually sits — 200 scored plus 30 pilot — and it is the number our forms are built to.
Which pass should I buy?
SurePass, for almost everyone: today it costs the same as Standard, it runs a full year, and it is the only pass that pays your retake fee if you don't pass (and adds another year free). Standard is a month of access with the Money-Back Guarantee — a refund plus 90 more days if you don't pass. Starter is one week of access with no refund — don't pass and you get 30 more days free.
The exam is changing in 2027. What does that mean for SurePass?
It is a fair question and we would rather you asked it here. ARRT's current content specifications run through 28 February 2027; a new edition, board-approved in January 2026, takes over on 1 March 2027. Five of the eight sections change weight — Patient Care drops from 33 scored items to 31, Radiation Protection from 29 to 25, and the three procedures sections gain. This bank is built to the current specification. If you are sitting before March 2027, that is exactly what you want. If you are sitting after it, ask us before you buy SurePass — we would rather lose the sale than have you find out later.
What does the exam itself cost?
$225 to ARRT. A retake is $200, which is one of the few genuine retake discounts in this market — most bodies charge the full fee again. That is what SurePass covers: your full $200 retake fee if you qualify and don't pass.
What is on the exam?
230 questions in 230 minutes, of which 200 are scored and 30 are pilot items. Eight sections in four groups: Patient Care (33 scored items), Safety (50 across radiation physics and radiation protection), Image Production (51 across acquisition and equipment), and Procedures (66 across head/spine/pelvis, thorax/abdomen and extremities).
What score do I need to pass?
ARRT reports a scaled score, and the current operational cut is 129 of the 200 scored items. A scaled score is not a percentage of questions correct, so the two are not the same thing. The 80% our mocks score against is our own bar, stated as ours.
Are the questions like the real exam?
Every item is written to ARRT's own content specifications, weighted to its published scored-item counts, with four options and a rationale on each. Every key was recomputed from its own stem before the explanation was read. On this bank we can also say what the audit found, and it is the best result we have: a blind reader who knew no radiography scored 24.0% on this bank — below the 25% you would get by guessing — and the same readers scored a full ten points higher on a bank we already sell.
What happens when my pass expires?
Your account stays; the paid features stop. Your notes, highlights and flashcard history are all still there if you come back, and SurePass runs a full year — and adds another year free if you don't pass.
My exam date moved. Does the plan adjust?
Yes. Change the date and the Game Plan rebuilds around the new one — it works backwards from your date, so a move forward compresses it and a move back spreads it out. Nothing is lost.
Can I use it on my phone, and does it work offline?
Yes to both. Add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app. Your due flashcards and a set of practice questions download automatically, so you can revise with no signal. The whole study guide downloads too, narrated audio included; scored mocks and the tutor still need a connection.
Do you offer refunds if I change my mind?
Yes, separately from the pass guarantee: 24 hours on Starter, 48 hours on Standard, or 72 hours on SurePass, measured from your purchase (or from your upgrade, if you upgraded) — no questions asked, as long as you haven't sat your exam yet. EEA and UK buyers also keep their 14-day statutory right. The SurePass Guarantee is the other promise — that one is about your exam result, not about changing your mind.
Why are SurePass guarantees limited?
Because we honor them. Every guarantee is a real financial commitment we may genuinely pay out, so a limited number opens for this exam each day. The allocation resets at midnight in your own time zone, and the counter shows how many of today's are still open.
Have questions or concerns?
A real person reads every message and replies by email.
