Each exam sells three passes. They are one-time payments. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel.

What it is
Starter Full access for 7 days. Built for the week before the exam.
Standard Full access for 30 days.
SurePass 1 year of access — 365 days from purchase.

All three unlock the same product — the complete question bank, all flashcard decks and mnemonics, scored mock exams, and Miles. The passes differ on how long you keep it and on what happens if you don't pass.

  • Starter carries no refund. Don't pass, upload your official score report — no mock bar — and we add 30 more days of access, free, once per exam.
  • Standard carries the Money-Back Guarantee: qualify, don't pass, and we refund your pass in full and add 90 more days of access, free.
  • SurePass carries the SurePass Guarantee: the refund, your official retake fee reimbursed, and another year of access free.
  • Every free period is counted from the earliest date your exam allows a retake. All of it is set out in the Refund & Guarantee Policy. Bought a 7-Day, 30-Day or Lifetime pass before these went on sale? You keep the terms you bought.

Expiry. A duration pass expires at 11:59 PM Pacific — always rounding up, so you get the rest of that day rather than losing hours to the clock. Your badge shows the exact moment. SurePass ends 365 days after your purchase; a free upgrade to it runs 365 days from the upgrade.

Upgrading. You can move up a tier at any time and pay only the difference. An upgrade is always priced off the sale price. When the difference is nothing — SurePass on sale at Standard's price — the upgrade is free.

Prices differ by exam, and prices and offers can change. The price you will pay is the one on your exam's Choose your pass screen at the moment you check out — that is the only number worth quoting back to us, and it is the amount on your receipt. Your card statement will show CAPITAL PREP.
